You are probably now asking yourself what does this actually mean?

Well we will tell you ........

In order for a beach to win the Blue Flag award, the local authorities must achieve the very highest standards in four categories:

• Water quality
• Environmental management
• Environmental education
• Safety

Westward Ho! passed all of these once again with flying colours!

What this means for you is that not only will you learn to surf at the only Centre of Excellence surf school in Westward Ho!, you will also be surfing in the cleanest waters in the area too!
